Bennett Furlow is a Religious Studies doctoral student at Arizona State University. He recieved his MA in Religious Studies with an emphasis on Islam in May of 2007 from California State University, Long Beach. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Religious Studies. Bennett’s primary area of interest is the relationship between Islam and politics and exploring the ideological roots of modern Islamist movements.
